Katie Tramel (Class of 2024) is a Human Health and Biology with a double minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.

Recent Awards and Accomplishments:

  • Presentation at the Undergraduate Research Day, Spring 2021: Online paper presentation of research paper at the University of Oklahoma, Undergraduate Research Day, Spring 2021. Katie’s paper was entitled: “Exploring Ancient Mobility among Nonroyal Elites at the Classic Period Maya Archaeological Site of El Palmar, Campeche, Mexico.”
  • Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) grant award: Spring 2021. Funds to be used for laboratory analysis of archaeological remains from El Palmar, Campeche, in the Summer or Fall of 2021.
